Wanda Jane Sides' Obituary
Wanda Jane Sides, age 76, of Allen, Texas, passed away at 7:00AM on Friday, June 1, 2018 in Dallas, at Faith Presbyterian Hospice. She was born on September 8, 1941, to Otis and Doris Skipworth in Van Alstyne, Texas. Wanda retired from the Collin County Appraisal District after more than 10 years of service.She lived in Allen, Texas for over 30 years. She lived life to the beat of her own drum, and truly did things her way. Although she did not officially belong to a specific congregation, she had a strong relationship with her Lord and Savior and led many to their faith. She loved her family, her dogs, helping people and Wanda Jane loved to dance.She is survived by her children, Roxanna, husband Randy, Kenneth, wife Lorrie, Todd, wife Debbie, Joe and Travis; sisters, Willie, Bobbie and Rhonda; brother, Randy; grandchildren, John Seipp, Stephen Seipp, Cheyenne Seipp, Zach Pickel, Sara Pickel, Blake Pickel, Kristyn Reeves, Michael Reeves, Ashley Sides, Chelsey Sides, Cody Phillips, Camey Phillips, Hillary Hearn and 13 great grandchildren.The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Restland Funeral Home. There will be a funeral service beginning at 2:30PM on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
