Wanda Lee Stockton's Obituary
Wanda Lee Stockton (3/6/1930 – 11/11/209) Wanda Lee (Attaway) Stockton was born March 6, 1930 in Fouke, Miller County, Arkansas, one of five siblings born to E.D. Attaway and Myrth (Hudson) Attaway. Wanda graduated from Fouke High School in 1948, and married Burt Adolphas Stockton on December 6, 1949. Wanda and Burt moved to Garland, TX in 1954 and lived in Garland all their lives. After forty-six years of happy marriage, Burt preceded her in death on October 30, 1996. Working as a bookkeeper prior to motherhood, Wanda became a full-time homemaker upon the birth of their only child in 1957. She was proud of her role as a homemaker, and remained one throughout the remainder of her life. Wanda was a long-time member of Austin Street Church of Christ, and a subsequent member of the Saturn Road Church of Christ. Wanda is survived by her son Mark, niece Kay Reeves, and nephews Troy, Jeff and Casey Attaway. Visitation will be at Restland Funeral Home on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m . Services will be at the Saturn Road Church of Christ in Garland on Monday at 2:00 p.m
