Wanda Paulette Thomason's Obituary
Wanda Paulette Thomason, age 80, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2024.
Born on May 14, 1944, to John and Bernice Dagley in Greenville, TX. Wanda lived a life full of love, dedication, and service to others.
Wanda retired from a fulfilling career as an administrative assistant at Southern Methodist University, where she was known for her meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment. On July 2, 1963, she married the love of her life, Tommy Thomason. Together, they built a beautiful life and were married for 60 years and blessed with one son, Barry Thomason.
Wanda was preceded in death by her beloved brothers, Johnny Dagley and Larry Dagley, and her sister, Nancy Keel. She is survived by her husband, Tommy, her son Barry and his wife Nacele, her cherished grandson, Trevor Thomason, her sister, Betty McKenzie, and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Wanda’s warmth, kindness, and generosity touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make memorial contributions to the Scottish Rite Hospital or a charity of your choice.
Services to honor Wanda’s life will be held at Restland Funeral Home: A Visitation on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 2:00 PM, with a graveside service to follow.
