Warren Merle Edgerley's Obituary
EDGERLEY, WARREN M., 89 years old passed away on December 13, 2007 in Denton, TX. He was born October 29, 1918 in Danville, Illinois. On December 5, 1942 he married Antoinette Josephine Subit May while stationed in Oklahoma during WWII. Warren served as a supply sergeant in the 8th Air Corps in England, France and Germany. He moved to Wheaton, Illinois where he worked for General Portland Cement Company for 49 years in Chicago, Illinois and later in Dallas, TX when the firm relocated. He retired in 1985. He was an active member of First Baptist Church of Sanger, TX. He was proceeded in death by his wife Josephine and his sister, Maxine Schafer. He is survived by his six children: Sons: Melvin, Brian, Dennis, Darrell; daughters, Janene Spratt and Sharon Roden, 10 grandchildren and brother Millard Edgerley of Princeton, WI. Graveside services will be on December 17, 2007 at 1:00 pm at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, TX. The family will receive friends from 11:30-12:30 pm at Restland Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Denton Good Samaritan Village, 2500 Hinkle Drive, Denton, TX 76201 or to the American Cancer Society.
