Wayne Wood Foster's Obituary
Wayne Wood Foster died on July 9, 2020. He was born in Dallas, Texas, on August 17, 1939, to the late Kathryn Foster and Weldon Rigdon. Thomas Foster, his step-father, also preceded him in death. He graduated from Waco High School in Waco, Texas, and from Del Mar Technical Institute in Corpus Christi, Texas. Wayne was a long time member of Prestonwood Baptist Church. For thirty-five years before retiring he worked in the electronics industry at Union Carbide, Forney Engineering, G. E. Team Controls, and Citizens Communications. His love of family, quick wit, giving personality, and gentle spirit will be greatly missed. He leaves behind his wife of 57 years, Nancy Robins Foster; daughter Kelley Pacholek and her husband James, son Randy Foster and his wife Melinda, son Rob Foster and his wife Amanda; grandsons Dillon Pacholek, Austin Pacholek, Nathan Foster, Jaden Foster, Reid Foster and Riley Poston; granddaughters Claire Foster and Ava Poston; brother-in-law Richard Robins, his wife Mary, and their children Richard and Meagan. His absence hurts but his memory will always make us smile. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity. Private funeral service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco, Texas, at a later date.
