Wayne D. Garrett's Obituary
GARRETT, WAYNE D. born November 14, 1919 in Humphreys, OK and passed away October 25, 2010 in Plano, TX. He is survived by his beloved friend, Paula Harkey and her family; daughter, Margaret Garrett and partner, Barbara DeGrand; 2 sisters-in-law, Marie Jones and Joetta Garrett; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Wayne was a retired major in the US Marine Corps and a retired aviation pilot, from the U.S. Department of Interior, Bureau of Reclamation. He was a member of the Elks, Friendship Force of Dallas, and vice-president of the Woodpark Home Owners Association. Memorial services will be held at 3:30PM, Friday, October 29, 2010 at Restland Memorial Chapel with Rev. Karlan Fairchild officiating.
