Wayne was one of the finest people I have ever known. Smart, funny, generous and so very kind. And stubborn! But if he was wrong he would admit it and laugh. We had an argument at work once whether scones are baked or fried, Wayne insisting the later because that's how he said his mom made them. To settle the argument Wayne called his mom and that's how he learned scones are baked. A silly thing, but it was fun and we laughed. I will never forget him.

Mendenhall Family, I am so sorry for your loss of Wayne. I know what a fantastic man he was and I know how happy he made my good friend Juli. She is like a sister to me and I am so thankful that you are there to support her as well. These are tough times and I just wish I could be there to hug her & meet his family. He was a true hero. I had the honor of working with Wayne at Dallas Semiconductor. He was a true gentleman, hard working and shear pleasure to be around. I will never forget the time my colleague Paul and I brought Wayne and a couple colleagues a 9lb lobster from Boston. He took it out and had it on the floor at the hotel before he boiled the poor guy....You will truly be missed our friend.... Effie Favreau
