Please know you and your family are in my prayers. May God bless you and your children at this time, and in the future.
Arlene, you and Wayne stayed steadfast in your journey, and I know, for that, you are thankful to God. Words could never begin to describe what I saw in the two of you. Stay prayerful, as I will, for HIS guidance. Percy, Shiela Dyson and Family

Wayne you will truly be missed… you are still my brother.
When I moved from Cleburne to Fort worth in 1968 desegreation had just started in the school districts. Everyone went to the same school when I left Cleburne. When I got to Fort Worth it was my junior year and Wayne stood tall and lead an era of change at Southwest High School as the only African American among 700 students. He not only lead but loved everyone as well as we loved him as a leader and a person. Respect from all the students worked beyond belief. I as well as many people at school had Wayne touch their life and will never forget him. The ones that hurt the most losing Wayne are the ones that loved him more than can be said. One day we all have to take that journey of life that Wayne has taken and he will be waiting with open arms to all. David Dennis
