Wd Hollon's Obituary
HOLLON, WD “Dub” He was born in Klondike, TX in 1936, moved to Dallas at the age of 10 and graduated from Adamson High School in 1954. Dub graduated from Southern Methodist University with a BBA in 1958 and an MBA in 1959. He was a Certified Public Account and a member of the Financial Executive Institute for over 40 years where he served as president. He was a former member of Central Christian Church where he served as an Elder and Chairman of the Board. He was currently a member of Parkway Hills Baptist Church in Plano. He is preceded in death by his son, Mark Allen Hollon and brother, Edwin Earl Hollon. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Betty Hollon; daughter, Debbie Irons and husband, Tom; granddaughters Lauren Irons and Haley Irons; sisters, Ann Taylor, Eugenia Ratcliff and her husband, Kenneth, Mary Ogden and her husband, Jack; brothers, Grover Hollon, Ron Hollon and wife, Maribeth, Ed Hollon and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and loved ‘his girls’ dearly. He will be greatly missed by all those that knew him.
