Graveside services for Wenceslao G. Franco, age 86, of Dallas, TX, have been scheduled for 3:00 PM Monday August 15, 2022 at Restland Memorial Park, in the Garden of Memories Section.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, August 14th from 3:00 - 5:00PM at Restland Funeral Home.
Mr. Franco passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at his daughter's residence in Mesquite.
Wenceslao Gutierrez Franco was born on April 3,1936 in Mathis, TX, the son of Wenceslao Cosme Franco and Delfina (Guiterrez) Franco. He married Geneva Brown on November 21, 1957 in Dallas, TX. Mr. Franco served in the US Army and received his Honorable discharge. He worked as a welder in the heavy machinery industry.
Mr. Franco is survived by his wife: Geneva B. Franco; son: Benjamin Franco; daughters: Dursilla Franco Garza (Gustavo Garza), Francine Franco Thurman (Jose Gomez), and Adeline Nadine Franco; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brother: Enrique G. Franco; 6 nieces; and 4 nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, brother, and 2 sisters.
He leaves his family and friends with unforgettable memories and loving stories. He will be sincerely missed by his loving family, devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him.
