She also has many uncles, aunts, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing and loving Wendy will always be reminded of her infectious smile and huge heart. Someone who always spread love and kindness to everyone, even those she did not know. Her greatest joy was being “Mimi” to her beautiful grandchildren, who she loved dearly. Her passion was being an animal lover. She cared for her dogs and cats with such empathy and love. Her animals were her world.
The family extends its’ heartfelt gratitude to her cousin, Guy Slaymaker who graciously cared for Wendy throughout her hard-fought battle with cancer. Her cherished childhood friend of 45 years, Laryssa Johnson, provided daily love and support and ensured she received the best care, treatment, and doctors to meet her every need. We are grateful for all the doctors, nurses and medical staff who cared deeply for her with unwavering support and compassion. We are grateful for the many people who lifted Wendy and our family up in prayer for healing and strength over these past months. We can rejoice with confidence that she is now fully healed and has been safely taken to her eternal home.
Wendy will be deeply and lovingly missed by all her family and friends; may she rest in peace.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to her favorite animal shelter.
