Wendy Marie Struck's Obituary
Wendy graduated from Waterman High School Waterman, Illinois in 1976 and Northern Illinois University DeKalb, Illinois in 1980. Also in 1980 she moved to Texas settling in Carrollton, Texas where she started her career as a real estate accountant a career she devoted her life to.
Wendy leaves behind a son Kenneth R. Struck (Lavender) Denton, Texas. Two sisters Deb Henderson (Al) Grinnell, Iowa, Lynette Tuma Cromwell, Kentucky, and a brother Jimmy Tuma (Carolyn) Paw Paw, Illinois. Three nephews Blake Henderson (Makenna), Cole Henderson (Atley), Clayton Tuma (Sarah) and one niece Laura Tuma Simpson (Chris) and eight great nieces and nephews. Her very dear friends that became her family Barry and Jody Reiner and Ruth Tjosvold. Wendy also had two exchange students from Germany that she loved as her own Michael Utz and Michael (Liwei) Bodewig.
Wendy is proceeded in death by her father James Tuma (2000) and her mother Janet Tuma Chinn (2016).
Wendy loved to garden, cross stitch, make latch hook rugs and travel. She also had a love for Siamese cats that she would rescue from shelters.
Wendy was a very loving, caring and generous person. Her quick wit and silliness will be greatly missed by all.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
