Wilbert Theodore Schulze's Obituary
SCHULZE, WILBERT THEODORE Age 91, of Dallas, TX passed away peacefully on 12/20/2011 at Juliette Fowler Homes. He was born on 1/26/1920 in Giddings, TX to his parents, Ernest H. Schulze and Martha Schubert Schulze. Wilbert served in the Army for 3 years and served in Asiatic Pacific Theater, earning Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, and a Victory Medal. He was a longtime resident of Dallas, TX and was employed by Southern Methodist University as a Shop Supervisor. Wilbert was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. He and Murrel enjoyed going to their lake house at Toledo Bend. He loved building and fixing things, and gardening. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years Murrel, his parents and brother, Martin. Wilbert will be remembered by brothers, Elton Schulze, Erwin Schulze; sister, Adeline Schulze Nietsche; and many nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00PM, Thursday, December 22nd at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 3:00PM, Friday, December 23rd at Restland Wildwood Chapel. The family would like to give special thanks to Wilbert’s caregivers and the staff at the Juliette Fowler Homes for the loving care he received.
