Wilbert Vern Tyler's Obituary
Wilbert Vern Tyler, 68, of Dallas passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 in Dallas. He was born on Friday, December 23, 1949 in Jefferson, Texas, to Mary Ruth and John Earl Tyler, Jr. Wilbert honorably served his country in the United States Air Force as an Administrative Specialist. He is preceded in death by his father. Wilbert is survived by: his wife, Doris M. Tyler; daughter, Jessica Tyler; son, LeRone Tyler; granddaughter, Jalynn Tyler-Edmondson; mother, Mary R. Tyler; three sisters, Sandra T. Rimpson, Gloria T. Wadsworth and Segwen Tyler; three brothers, Milton Tyler, Don Tyler and Kenneth Tyler; two aunts, Georgia Tyler and Velma Cowling; one uncle, Ronald Mathis; and a host of extended relatives and friends. Family will receive friends on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 6-8 PM in the Memorial Chapel of Restland Funeral Home. Funeral services will commence at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 7, 2018 in Restland’s Memorial Chapel. Interment with military honors will follow at 2:30 PM in the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Avenue, at the intersection of Restland Road and Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
