Willa Mae Crawford's Obituary
Willa Mae Crawford, passed away on November 9, 2023, at Presbyterian Hospital - Dallas at the end of her fight against cancer. Mrs. Crawford was born on February 4, 1937, in Blue Ball, Arkansas, to William Otto Hunt and Ezell Taylor Hunt. She graduated from Gainesville High School in 1955. She spent a lifetime in productive work, raising children, spoiling grandchildren, and serving her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Spencer and husband Robert of North Carolina; son Stephen Crawford and wife Gina of Texas; daughter Shawn Frazier and husband Larry of Texas; and daughter Shantel Rich and husband Cadmus of Texas; brother Bill Hunt and wife Grace of Prosper, Texas; sister, Helen Beasley of Dallas, Texas; sisters in law Linda Douglas of Irving Texas and Pat Hunt of Orville California, 6 grandsons, 5 granddaughters, 5 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years Charles Crawford, her parents, sister Sallie Agee, brothers Mickey Hunt and Lewis Hunt, and brother-in-law Robert Beasley.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Restland Wildwood Chapel, Dallas. Family will receive visitors there one hour before the service. Graveside service and burial will follow at Restland, Dallas, Texas.
Pallbearers are Cadmus Rich, Larry Frazier, Drew Frazier, Aidan Frazier, Ryan Crawford, and Dalton Farmer.
