Willard Mcduffie Jr.'s Obituary
MCDUFFIE JR., WILLARD, Born June 11, 1918 in Forney, TX and passed away on April 18, 2008 in Dallas, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard Sr. and Imogene McDuffie. Willard retired from Sun Oil Company after 25 years. He was a Navy Veteran during WWII in the pacific Theater and during the Korean War. He enjoyed reading, gardening, and bird watching. He was a 32nd degree Mason. His grandchildren and great grandchildren were the joy in his life. He is survived by his wife, Virginia McDuffie to whom he was married for 60 years; his daughter, Beth Volk; son, Tom McDuffie and spouse, Sandy; grandchildren, Amy Johnson and spouse Luke, Joy Volk, Marcy Parker and spouse Robert, Tim Volk; great grandchildren, Jessica Johnson, Cooper Johnson, Aubrey Parker, and Will Parker. Willard is loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at Lake Highland United Methodist Church in Dallas.
