William " Bill " McMahan Wilson's Obituary
William " Bill " McMahan Wilson, age 86, of McKinney, Texas passed away on May 19, 2024. Bill was born in Sevier County, Tennessee March 7,1938. He graduated from Oak Ridge High school in Oak Ridge Tennessee, and attended Carson - Newman University before joining the United States Air Force. Later, he would work for Collins Radio and Rockwell International before retiring while at American Airlines.
Bill was married to Genevieve Wilson for 61 years. Bill was a devoted husband, and loving father. He was always smiling at others, and had an infectious laugh. Bill was a Shriner and member of the Masonic Lodge. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Plano. His Hobbies included travelling the world, reading, TV and movies, and working outdoors on his ranch.
Bill is preceded in death by his father Clyde Wilson, mother Louise Tarwater, and his aunt Asa Gentry. Bill is survived by his Wife: Genevieve Wilson, Son: Eric Wilson, countless friends and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held at Restland Funeral Home Wildwood Chapel at 1:00 pm, May 22, 2024.Service will be held at 2:00 pm at Restland Funeral Home Wildwood Chapel.
