William I. "Bill" Grubbs' Obituary
GRUBBS, WILLIAM I “BILL” Born March 31, 1922 in Crandall, TX to T.W. & Mary Grubbs, passed away in Plano TX, December 11, 2010. He is preceded in death by his wife of 43 years Irene Ellis, whom he married on March 18, 1955; 1 brother and 2 sisters. He was a long time employee of the Texas Employment Commission, long-time owner of Dilts Electric Company and one of the founding members of Prestoncrest Church of Christ. He is survived by his son David Grubbs & wife Kathryn of Carrollton and daughter Debbi Oliger & husband Ted of Plano; two grandsons, Christopher Grubbs and Paul Oliger; one granddaughter, Rebecca Grubbs; brother Kenneth Grubbs; sisters Lilla Weber and Laura Breedlove; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Restland Funeral Home from 7:00 until 8:30 pm. Services will be held at 12:30 Thursday, December 16, 2010 in Restland Memorial Chapel.
