His mother Mary (Hiegert) was the half sister of my mother Frieda Hiegert Highfill and was my half aunt; her parents were W.P. Hiegert and Caroline Weise. W. P. Hiegert was my maternal grandfather. My mother was Frieda Hiegert and her mother was W. P. HIegert's second wife, Lydia Marie Weise. Although, I did not spend much time with "Billy Fred" as we knew him I did spend more time with his parents. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and I am sorry for your loss.
Lived in the same neighborhood and traveled to Arlington State College together. Visited with him for the first time two weeks ago for the first time since first year at college.
