Mr. William Paul Bunch's Obituary
BUNCH, WILLIAM PAUL born on July 1, 1921 in Atlanta, MO and passed away December 21, 2007 in Dallas, TX. He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Rebecca Susan Nickell and wife of 6 years, Rebecca Robison. Paul is survived by his sons; Robert, James and wife Debra, and Richard Bunch; grandsons; Aaron and Nicholas Bunch; granddaughters: Elizabeth and Ashley Bunch; brother, Charles Bunch; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other family members. He was a Veteran of WWII and was a Japanese Prisoner of War for 3 and a half years. He was captured in the Philippines and participated in the Bataan Death March. He was a graduate of University of Missouri. He was a great father, being active in his son’s lives. He coached them in basketball, baseball, and golf. He worked for Standard Brands for over 40 years. Visitation is from 4:00-6:00 pm Sunday, December 23, 2007 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be 12:30 pm Monday, December 24, 2007 at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
