William Edward Byers' Obituary
William E. Byers, 90, of Mansfield, Texas passed away on April 19,2021 in Mansfield, Texas. He was born on March 23, 1931 to W. H. Byers and Rommie Edwards in Van Alstyne, Texas. William was a devoted husband and father. He loved his grandchildren deeply. He was a friend to many. William had a passion for working with his many tools, be it gardening, mechanical, or woodworking. He enjoyed being outdoors and traveling. He traveled from the Artic Circle to the South Pole, and many places between.
William is survived by his daughter, Sherry Welch (Kenneth); grandson, Matthew Welch (Megan); granddaughter, Shannon McCallum (Matt); brother, Jerry Byers (Trenell) and their family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Melba Jean Byers, and his parents, Rommie and William Byers.
