No man sacrificed for and loved his family more. As his daughter, I can only hope to pass down to my children the moral character that he embodied, the kindness and love he was known for, the devotion that is so very rare, and to be half the person I was blessed to Daddy. Most people's lives are shaped by the family they are born into. Some of us were chosen to share in a life we had no birthright to hold.
