William Carl Christensen, Jr, 95, passed away on July 18, 2022. Bill was born on October 25, 1926 in Houston, TX. He grew up in Dallas, TX and graduated from Sunset High School before joining the army during WWII. While in basic training at Fort Roberts in California, the war came to an end. During this time, he met and married the love of his life, Jan Christensen, and had two children. Bill was a kind and gentle man with a wonderful sense of humor. He was a worker and was always happy to help with anything and everything that needed to be done. His life was marked by selfless devotion to family.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Jan Christensen; his father William Christensen Sr; his mother Beulah Christensen; and his sisters Betty Bowie and Marilyn Wagner. He is survived by his son Trey and his wife Nancy Christensen; his daughter Laura and her husband Brad Godkin; his grandchildren, Taylor, Trevor, Liam and Grayson
