William Burt Dillaha's Obituary
Dillaha, William Burt “Bill” of Dallas, 82, died Sept. 20 in a Dallas hospital. He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Margaret Land Dillaha of Dallas, a son, Leland, of Richardson, and sister, Phyllis Dillaha Brandon of Little Rock. He was predeceased by his parents, Vera and Calvin Dillaha, and a brother, Dr. Calvin J. Dillaha, all also of Little Rock. He served in the Army Air Force at the end of World War II. While stationed in Germany, he attended several historic trials in Nuremberg. He was a native of Little Rock and received a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Arkansas where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha. He was retired from Dallas Power and Light/ Texas Utilities in 1987 after working there as an electrical engineer since 1952. A graveside funeral will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26 at Restland Cemetery in Dallas. In lieu of flowers, please send a contribution to Ridgewood Park United Methodist Church, 6445 E.
