Dear Marie…We just received your news that Bill has passed after fighting Cancer of the Larynx for the past six months! He is CERTAINLY in a MUCH better place and the pain is gone and Bill has won as expected ! Those wonderful days in NYC when we were just married and I was truly a rookie working for Bill were simply marvelous to experience and now recall with great joy and sadness ! Bill always had a very positive view of the World and I believe it rubbed off on me ! His " grasp " of the Insurance business was immense and he was always willing to share that with me at a drop of the hat. It is most coincidental that only last year during Thanksgiving Week we took our entire family to NYC…..stayed at the New York Palace and went to every museum and restaurant that you can imagine. I proudly took the gang by our OLD Penn Mutual office in the New York General building and told " some " of the stories that I lived and laughed working with Bill ! What a treat for them ( we hope ), but for us it was the joy of going down Memory Lane during 1963-69 ! Oh we loved that town as BILL did for sure ! Our prayers and thoughts will be with you and Bill over these coming days and be assured we love you both very much. Love Phil & Paula
