Remembering how we met when Eddie and I were in grade school. Spent many happy and fun hours with Mr. and Mrs Bean, One Halloween he sent eddie and me to do something in the backyard. We were tossing a football back and forth not paying any attention to anything and Mr. Beam came around the corner of the house wearing a sheet and scared the, well you know, out of us. We were so scared Eddie threw the football at him. Thank you Mr. Bean for making me feel at home and sharing your love with me. God bless and keep you.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I remember my first trip to Texas was in about 1952. Mama, Daddy and I came down from Parsons. The first time I saw an ice cream man wagon. Bill took us to Love Field, it was in the country. We live in Bonham now. Call sometime. 903-449-4065 Susie and Elwood Agnew I was David Dukes' daughter.

Dear Eddie, Becky, Debbie and Steve, So sorry to hear of your fathers death. Bill was a first cousin of my mother Maxine Dukes Skillman or Aunt Maggie as all of you called her. I fondly remember the first time you all came to the farm in Burlington. I think it was the summer of 1958. You all were excited to see the animals and chickens running around. Some of our chickens were speckled black and white and looked grey. Eddie thought the grey ones were old. Mother fixed fried chicken for dinner but you kids didn't want to eat them because we had butchered them. Your mom was just as excited because she had never been to the farm but she didn't want to appear as excited as you kids. I think this was before Steve was born. Lots of fond memories of going to Parsons when you would come to see your grandmother( my great Aunt Anna.) I also remember when Bill came to the farm after he came back to the states from Saudi Arabia. He was driving a new yellow convertible. Bill was a very soft spoken man and I know he loved you all very much. We need to keep in touch as our family roots run together. Our prayers go out to all of you. Love, Judy Skillman Stukey.
