I met Bill in 2018 when he was interviewing architects to design a new clubhouse and pool Pavillion for risewood’s new project at oak well farms in San Antonio . His knowledge and appreciation for good architecture as a catalyst for transformation was deeply rooted in his long and lustrous career in real estate in California and Texas . His sensitivity nature and encouraging spirit made everyone want to perform for him at the highest level . In short order he transcended from client to collaborator and then close friend . I looked forward to each time we met because I knew I would learn something important especially about how to treat others with dignity respect and patience . These last couple of years I know were hard on him ohisucally and mentally but he never slowed down and always maintained such a positive can do attitude until the very end of his life. I count him as a great friend and I know he will be missed by all those he has inspired over his wonderful life . He truly was a blessing from above and will be very much missed and never forgotten .
