FREEMAN, JR., WILLIAM WALLER 86, passed away on August 23, 2012. Wally was born April 23, 1926 in Moberly, Mo. to William Waller Freeman and Rebecca Lewis Freeman. He was a long time resident of Dallas and was a graduate of Highland Park High School and SMU. He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. Wally married his high school sweetheart, Ann Andrews, in 1948 and they were married 42 blissful years before she passed away in 1990. He was employed by Sun Oil Company for 25 years and retired as manager of Special Projects in 1974 to move to Tyler Texas to join a longtime friend in banking. He retired as Ex VP with Bank of America in 1989. In 1992 Wally moved back to Dallas and married Judy Pollard Weatherford. They shared 20 devoted years together. He loved and took great pride in his five grandchildren, William Freeman Smith, Coleman Yeager, Dodd Yeager, Abigail Monigold, and Norianne Monigold and he loved his stepchildren, Julie Crawford, Mimi Nolan, Mark Weatherford and, Billy Weatherford, as his own. His 15 step grandchildren were a huge part of his life and he loved each of them dearly. Wally touched so many hearts and brightened every day that we spent with him.
