William John Holtz Jr.'s Obituary
Bill Holtz was born in Evansville, IN on February 3, 1926 and passed away October 31, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife, of over 50 years, Peggy Holtz. He fondly spoke of his childhood memories, especially spending time on his grandparents’ farm with his sister, cousins, aunts and uncles. Bill moved to Texas in the early 60’s with Peggy, where they raised their children: Donna, William and Scott. He is also survived by his daughter, Peggy Dudley of Greensburg, IN. Bill had a long career in finance and banking. He was very active in Boy Scouting for many years and was a very committed church member including Park Cities Baptist Church, where he attended since 1980. Bill was a faithful grandfather, and adored his extended family. He also cherished Barbara Muse, his late-in-life companion who provided much care and comfort during his illness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill Holtz’ memory to NW Arkansas Young Life PO Box 1325 Fayetteville, AR 72702-1325 The visitation for William Holtz Jr. will be from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Restland Funeral Home. The service for William will be held at 12:30 PM, Monday, November 7, 2016 in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
