William Edward Hutt's Obituary
William Edward Hutt, beloved Father, Grandfather, Son and Friend passed away Monday, June 15, 2020. Bill was born January 5, 1939 to Louise Weatherall Hutt and William Oscar Hutt in Sherman, Texas. They moved to Shreveport, Louisiana where he lived prior to going to LSU. Bill was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity and graduated in Electrical Engineering.
He moved to Dallas and went to work for LTV. In 1963, he married Elizabeth Carolyn (Connie) Luter. After 5 years of Engineering, he joined others as an independent Manufacturer’s Representative and later purchased part of the business to expand into distribution, where he worked until retirement.
Bill loved his family, friends, and LSU Tigers. He enjoyed golf, baseball, church and his home on Lake Texoma. He was active in the Electronic Representative Association, John Calvin Presbyterian Church and Preston Trails Homeowners Association.
He is survived by his wife, Connie. His three daughters, Carolyn Ann Hutt, Susanne Hutt Wiginton (Ken) and Jennifer Hutt Hanks (Scott) and 8 Grandchildren, William Hutt and Harrison Cole Wiginton, John David, Elizabeth Ann and Emily Alexander Lineberger, Jack Hamilton, Emma Louise and Hattie Leigh Hanks.
Visitation will be at Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park on Saturday, June 20 from 4-6pm and Memorial Service will be Sunday, June 21 at 2pm.
