William "Buddy" Jeffrey Jr's Obituary
William “Buddy” Earl Jeffrey, Jr. of Dallas, Texas passed away peacefully on July 6, 2015 at the age of 90 years old. Buddy was born on March 23, 1925 in Austin, Texas to loving parents William E. Jeffrey, Sr. and Audrey B. Jeffrey. He is preceded in death by brother, Herschel Ray Jeffrey and sister, Louise Mullen. Enlisting in 1943, Staff Sgt. William E. Jeffrey, Jr. selflessly served in the 102nd Ozarks Division in the United States Army. He distinguished himself in service to our country during World War II in France and Germany. During this time he met many comrades that he has always kept in his heart and memory. Buddy spent his years honoring and caring for his mother Audrey and blessed many others with his genuine friendship, care, and compassion. He spent many weekends in Celina, Texas enjoying the simplicities of life alongside his mother while they both enjoyed the beauty of nature and cherished each moment. In his final days, special care was given by health providers and family caretakers. He was very well taken care of with a reciprocated care and love that he deserved to preserve his quality of life. Our gratitude runs deep and there are many thankful hearts for your dedication to this sharp minded, gentle¬hearted man. Buddy leaves behind his nephews and nieces along with their families whom will miss him greatly. In addition to his family; he leaves dear friends from the 102nd Ozarks Division and Sears Holding Corporation, where he was employed for 45 years. It is certain that Buddy will be truly missed at the annual luncheons and reunions. Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 5-7 pm at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, July 10, 2015 at 10:00 am at Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243 at Restland Road.
