William Elton Jones 's Obituary
William Elton Jones, II, age 77 of Rockport, TX died peacefully January 4, 2020 with his son and daughter-in-law by his side. He was born April 16, 1942 to Elton Jones, Sr. and Martha Lee Jones. He grew up in Ft. Worth. He graduated from Texas Tech University in 1967 and subsequently served in the Texas National Guard as well as the Air National Guard. He later worked as a salesman for Otis elevator. As he forged his own path through life, he ultimately ran his own successful elevator company for nearly 30 years. As a resident of Rockport, he lived life to the fullest, enjoying fishing and spending time with friends and family. He married once and had one son. He is survived by his brother, Allan Lee Jones; his son, William Elton Jones, III (Trey), daughter-in-law, Caroline Jones, and grandchildren Maggie and Bennett Jones.
