Mr. William George King's Obituary
KING, WILLIAM GEORGE born October 3, 1930 in Clydebank, Scotland and went to be with the Lord on June 28, 2007 in Dallas, TX after a long battle with cancer. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and grandpa. Bill is preceded in death by his sister, Florence Gunn. He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Edna; son Bruce King; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Ricky Morton; son and daughter-in-law, Stuart and Jesica King; grandchildren, Nicholas and Ryan Morton, Keith and Kyle King, Josephine McClain, Madeleine and Hannah King; brother and sister-in-law John and Cathy King. After relocating to the United States at the age of 18, Bill married Carolyn McIntosh and moved to the Dallas area. He successfully raised his family and began his partnership in Torry-King Incorporated, an engineering firm in Richardson. Memorial Service will be held Thursday, July 5, 2007 at 12:30 p.m. at Restland Wildwood Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family has asks that memorials be made to the Leukemia Association, 6060 N. Central Expressway Dallas, TX 75206 and to the American Parkinson Disease Association at the Presbyterian Health Care Foundation; 8440 Walnut Hill Lane suite 800 LB 6 Dallas, TX 75231.
