William Jerry Kirkland's Obituary
William “Jerry” Kirkland, 67, was born on April 24, 1950 in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and passed away on April 9, 2018 in Plano, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Eugene Kirkland and Delta Novella Kirkland; and sister, Gloria Jean Kirkland. Jerry is survived by his wife, Gail Matles Kirkland; daughters, Elizabeth Ashley Hereid and Katherine Melissa Kirkland; and nieces, Jodee Bailey, Jerald Tubby, Teresa Jojola, Suzanne Griffin. He was honorably discharged from the Marine Corp in January of 1972.The family wishes to receive guests at 2:30 at Restland Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service for Mr. Kirkland on Thursday, April 12, 2018, at 3 PM in Veterans II Garden at Restland Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Operation K-9 or the American Heart Association.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243.
