William Thomas Kuhn's Obituary
Thomas (Tom) Kuhn, 67, of Garland, TX passed away on January 23rd, 2021 at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Plano, TX.
William Thomas Kuhn was born in Dallas, TX to Faustine Kuhn and William Roy Kuhn. As a teen, he loved all sports and played basketball and baseball. As he got older, he attended Stephen F. Austin University and North Texas University to study Art. He went to work for GTE, which sold to Verizon working for them in various positions for 30+ years before retiring.
In his teenage years he met Patti Graff through a neighbor and mutual friend of Tom's. They started dating and eventually married on December 21st, 1973 in Farmers Branch, TX. They resided in Garland, TX where they raised two sons, Justin, and Jeremy. As a family they enjoyed the outdoors and playing sports.
He is survived by his wife Patti, sons Justin (wife Candace) and Jeremy, as well as five grandchildren, Alexis, Madison, Kylie, Hunter, and Holden. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Roy Kuhn and Faustine Kuhn.
The memorial service will be held at Restland Funeral Home in the Memorial Chapel on Monday, February 8th, 2021 at 2:30PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested to send memorial donations to the American Diabetes Association.
