William Wayne Laurence's Obituary
William Wayne Laurence, passed away on May 21, 2021 at the amazing age of 103. We are thankful for every year granted. His legacy will be honored through all of us.
William was born on September 22, 1917 in Heath, Texas, to William Joshua Laurence and Minnie Maye (Bratcher) Laurence. He was the youngest of their 7 children.
William is a veteran of the Unites States Army. He served during WWII as a Sergeant in the Philippine Islands. After the Army, he worked as a grocery store manager and retired after 32 years. This speaks volumes of his strength and his dedication.
He was a very devout Christian who served diligently as a deacon in his church. He was truly an honest and honorable man who was loved by all who had the good fortune to know him.
William was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 75 years, Florence Earlynn.
Those left to cherish his memory are his 3 loving sons and 6 grandchildren.
