Bill Marshall – We met Bill & Billie casually many years ago – Their aunt Martha Beaver was an apartment neighbor who lived across from us back in the mid 1970?s and Mozelle another relative who also lived in the apartment complex. Thru our friendship with Martha, we became friends with Bill & Billie. – A friend can be someone of all sizes, nationalities, color, or ages – A friend is someone you feel at ease with – A friend is someone you share a common bond with – A friend is someone you can discuss anything with – there?s no right or wrong position, it?s how you feel and your feelings are respected and not judged – A friend is someone you share experiences with, new things you do together, or old experiences done alone but you want to share Bill and I shared many things: – Military service, though many years apart – The Veterans Administration ? Bill guided me through the maze and helped me get established with the VA We enjoyed talking about cars, airplanes, guns, things we?ve done over the years and computers. Bill and I would got together weekly for a long while, but we called each other often: In fact, we called each other nightly to chat about anything and everything ? many conversations were started with ?what do you think about this ?? or ?have you seen this on the news ?? – We?d talk about interest rates at banks, current state of businesses, the economy and Bill?s favorite topic ? complaining about President Obama – It really didn?t matter what we?d talk about, just so we touched base nightly A friend is someone you miss when they?re gone: -This past November I lost a close friend I?ve known over 50 years – Now Bill: – Bill was a kind person, honorable man with a great love for family and great pride in country – Bill was a veteran of WWII and – Bill was my friend ? I?ll miss Bill. Ben & Arlene Wunsch
