William Jack Mooney Jr. age 72 of Lewisville, TX was called home to his Savior Jesus Christ on December 13, 2019.He was born February 12, 1947, to William Mooney Sr. and Olene Mooney in Dallas TX.He married Jo Hayden on January 30, 1982 in Austin, TX.Jack graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School Class of 1965 in Dallas, TX, he graduated from TCU with a Bachelor of Arts in 1969, received a Certificate of License for The Gospel Ministry in 1971, and graduated with a Master in Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1972. He worked for EDS, UT Southwest Medical, and his last job before retiring was for Pediatrix medical group for 10 years.Survived by wife Jo Mooney of Lewisville, TX, his son William Jack Mooney III, daughter Lisa Patel and husband Jeff, stepdaughter Lori Kittredge and husband Kevin, stepdaughter Jenitta Eskew and husband Mark and sister Kay Hamilton and husband George Bell and 7 grandchildren – Katie Kittredge, Carter Wachtel, Karoline Kittredge, Cole Eskew, Christian Patel, Cade Eskew and Cooper Patel.Jack was preceded in death by his parents.Jack was a devoted and loving husband and father. He enjoyed fishing, traveling and playing with his grandkids. He was also known to be quite the jokester with an infectious laugh and a smile that could light up a room.Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Restland Wildwood Chapel, located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75243.
