William "Billy" O'Neal's Obituary
William “Billy” O’Neal, 69, of Mesquite, Texas passed away on July 4, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. Billy was born December 13, 1947. He grew up in Waco, Texas where he met the love of his life, Rose. He joined the U.S. Navy and served in the Vietnam War. After returning from Vietnam, he and Rose moved to the Dallas area where they raised their two daughters. Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Ruby O’Neal and brothers, Nathan and Tommy Welch. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Rose O’Neal; daughters, Tina Cervantez and Tammy Davis; sons-in-law, Albert Cervantez and Craig Davis; grandchildren; Cameron Davis, Abby Clark, and Amelia Cervantez; his sister, Anita Strom and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am, Monday, July 10, 2017 at the Restland Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow in the Court of Good Shepherd at Restland Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
