William Leon Rivers' Obituary
William Leon Rivers, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather finalized his earthly journey February 12th, 2024, in his home surrounded by his family and angel caregivers. His continued journey to God and eternity is assured because of his faith and close walk with Jesus.
Visitation will be at Restland Funeral Home on Monday, February 19th at 10:00 AM to 12:00PM in the Memorial Chapel. A private memorial service will be held in his beloved church where he was christened, the First United Methodist Church of Elgin in the spring when the bluebonnets will grace his grave.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the First United Methodist Church in Richardson, Texas, where he was a faithful member for fifty-three years.
