My first interaction with Will was at work. We were standing near one another while prize winners were being announced and he won a sandbox and a home depot gift card. He muttered, "what the hell am I going to do with a sandbox?!" I laughed so hard I think I startled him. I told him I would be happy to take the sandbox for my daughter not really believing he'd give it to me but he did. My kids have gotten a lot of use out of that gift over the years. I'll always remember the kindness he showed to me, someone he barely knew at the time. May you rest in peace, Will.
