William Earl Scarbrough Sr.'s Obituary
Scarbrough, William “Bill” Earl, Sr. (1929-2017), 87, died peacefully Tuesday, May 2, 2017 in Dallas, TX while in the company of his loving wife. Bill received his under graduate degree from the Univ. of Tennessee and his Master’s and Doctoral degrees from East Texas State (Texas AM-Commerce). Bill was a Lt. Colonel (Ret) in the Marine Corps, deacon and Sunday School Teacher at Park Cities Baptist Church, and a worshipful master at the Pentagon Lodge. He taught English in Sichuan China for 10 summers and retired from E-Systems as a Supervisor of Publications. Bill is survived by his wife of 68 years LeAnne (maiden Roark); children: Susan Marie Chipman (Michael), William E., Jr., Charles David (Veronica) and Jennifer Lee; beloved grand children: Susan Greer Fisher (Scott), Charles Burke Cowley (Heidi), William Derek (Tanya), James Leo (Michelle), Francesca, Noah, Eli, Mika, and Madison Moseley(Cami); brother Charles Terry (Kathryn); great grandchildren: William Henry, Vivienne Grace, Hallie Elizabeth, Benjamin Ross, and many more relatives and friends. Memorial to be held May 27, 2017, 10 AM @ Park Cities Baptist Church, Ellis Chapel 3933 Northwest Pkwy.
