Mr. William Ernest Schmitt, 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, in Plano, Texas. He was born on Friday, July 22, 1932, to his loving and thoughtful parents, William Ernest Schmitt, Sr. and Lottie Sauls Schmitt in Garland, Texas. Mr. William Ernest Schmitt will be sincerely missed by his loving family, his devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him.He was preceded in death by wife Sherry Lee Schmitt, parents and sister Gertrude Downing.He is survived by wife Esther Schmitt, sons Chris Schmitt & Curtis Schmitt, daughter Blanche Black, 6 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and sister Virginia Bowman.Visitation for Mr. William Ernest Schmitt will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home.
