SCOTT, WILLIAM “BUDDY” FENTON Born July 5, 1941 in Houston, Texas. A devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend died September 13, 2007. Buddy was surrounded by his loving daughters at the time of his passing. He is preceded in death by his parents, Geraldine & Vernon; his sister, Carol “Sissy” and wife, Paula. He is survived by his daughter, Stacey, and her husband, Doug and beloved grandsons, Collin and Will; daughter, Ashley, and husband, Floyd and beloved grandson, Jack; daughter, Robin, her husband, Torey and beloved grandchildren, Ellie and Dimitri; niece, Tracey and nephew, Steve; companion of 15 years, Daphne and her son, Taylor. Buddy attended Longview High School and graduated from the University of Texas in Austin. He was an active member and proud alumni of Sigma Chi Fraternity. Buddy was a successful businessman for 43 years and most recently President of Wicon Technologies. Buddy’s greatest pride and joy was his three beautiful daughters whom he took great joy in raising. Known lovingly as “Papaw”, Buddy also enjoyed spending much of his time with his amazing grandchildren. His outgoing personality cultivated life long friendships whom he considered as family. Buddy will always be remembered as a man who was passionate about family, friends and life.
