William Bernard Smith, JR. of Dallas, Texas was born April 21st, 1943, in Dallas, Texas to William Bernard Smith, SR. and Billie Ann Smith. He passed away on December 12th, 2022. William married Judy Swaner Smith on May 2nd in 1974, Dallas, Texas. He was a member of Dallas County Master Gardners, a devoted member of Cochran Chapel United Methodist Church, and retired from Dallas Airmotive. He is preceded in death by mother, Billie Ann Smith; sister, Carol A. Scott; aunts and uncles and grandparents. He is survived by wife, Judy Swaner Smith; sister, Mary Martin and brother-in-law, Matt Martin; son, R. Edward Smith and daughter-in-law, Lisa Smith; grandsons, Luke Smith and Jake Smith; brother-in-laws, Greg Scott, Tommy Swaner, Byrd Hughes and wife, Pam Hughes. William’s service will be on December 21st, 2022, at 2:00p.m., in Wildwood Chapel, Restland Cemetery.
