William Vars' Obituary
Vars, Williams R. was born November 1, 1931 in Iowa and passed away on September 12, 2012 in Wylie, Texas. He is preceded in death by his son, Juan Carlos Vars; and his parents, Jeanette and Gust Vars. William is survived by his wife, Ana M. Vars; and a host of family and friends in the U.S and Spain. William retired from Ericsson Communications of Richardson, Texas in 1994. He served in the Army Corps of engineers with the U.S. Army. He served in Korea and North Africa. William was also a member of the American Legion Post 321 in Plano, Texas. Service will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 12:00 PM in Restland Abbey Chapel. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park.
