William R. “Bill” Walker, age 91, was born on July 22, 1926 to William James John Walker and Dora Waddell in Chicago, Illinois, and passed away on November 3, 2017 in Dallas, Texas.Bill was a World War II Naval Veteran, and served as part of the Seabees, as well as a 50 year member of the Masons.He was preceded in death by his father, William James John Walker; mother, Dora Weddell and step-mother, Barbara Walker.Bill is survived by his wife, Lottie Dyer Walker; brother, Richard Walker; son, Doug Walker, and daughter-in-law Becky; Daughter, Diane Walker Detmering; Grandchildren, Emily Faltesek, Danny Faltesek, Leslie Pratt, Nick Pratt, Ashley Detmering; Great-Grandchildren, Madison Faltesek, Sabrina Pratt and Cooper Pratt.The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Monday, November 6, 2017 at Restland Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 10:00AM at Restland Funeral Home.
