Willie Beleder Brown's Obituary
BROWN, WILLIE BELEDER (BARNETT) Willie was born March 16, 1927 in Rusk, TX to Will and Ocie Barnett. She was a 1946 graduate of Fred Douglass High School in Jacksonville, TX. She moved to Dallas, TX in 1954. She was employed by Mayfair Department Store from 1954 until it closed. She then worked at Medical City Dallas Hospital until she retired. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hamilton Park, where she was a member of the Choir, Mission 2 and the Communion Board. She was married to Lincoln Brown and to this union no children were born. She was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Ocie Barnett; brother, Norman Barnett; nephew, Eric Barnett. She leaves to cherish her memories, daughter, Benita Miller; granddaughter, Sheniqua Miller; grandson, Frederick Barnett; great grandson, D’Andre Barnett; great granddaughter, Kiondra Harrison, all of Dallas, TX; sister-in-law, Loretta Barnett of Dallas, TX; one aunt, Josie Johnson of Elm Grove, TX; nieces, Sybil Chester and Thalia Mason of Dallas, TX; and a host of cousins. Service will be held at 12:00PM, Monday, January 3, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Hamilton Park. Visitation will be from 6:00PM – 8:00PM, Sunday, at Restland Funeral Home.
