Willie Travis Brown's Obituary
Willie Travis Brown, 68, former Texas resident died Sunday, March 12, 2017, in Mesquite, Texas on his way to meet his brother. At his wife’s request, no service will be held. Travis Brown was born January 25, 1949, in Haynesville, LA., to Mary Malone and Virgil Brown. Travis became fascinated with Ford automobiles at an early age after watching a neighbor fix his Ford engine by simply tying two wires together. He later resigned from Aviall Inc. as an Airplane Mechanic in 1994 to go full time in the ministry “Bread of Life Ministries of North Dallas”, where he served the Lord faithfully for over 38 years. He was a walking bible that loved Jesus with all his heart and encouraged others to do the same. He was anointed by God to perform many miracles for God’s people. Travis was a man that never met a stranger and had a way of making you feel special. He was a blessing to all who crossed his path and lives were changed through his ministry. He was a true prayer warrior and secret weapon in the army of the Lord. To God be the Glory! He will be missed by those who held him near. He is survived by his wife Duana Brown of 22 years. There were no children from this union. He left behind six children, Dallas Norris, Barbara Brown Gooden, Travis Brown Jr., Kevin Brown, Aaron Brown, Travis Lamar Brown and 5 step children. His surviving siblings are Rose Hardy, Raleigh Brown, Ray Brown, Tommie Lee, Roy Barrower, Gendenice Thomas, Frances Brown and Francine Cobb. He also left behind a host of friends, relatives and brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus. He will be forever missed. Condolences may be sent to 10455 N. Central Expwy.
