Bill and Jim and your families, I am so sorry for the loss of your mom from this earth. I know you will miss her hugely, but she will be watching from above and seeing your love for her! I'll never forget…when I was a kid, our FIRST and ONLY family vacation was a trip to OK to help y'all move to Texas! I remember stopping on the road and making leaf hats…being at the lake…and I have photos to prove it! Jim, you and I were SO CUTE with our leaf hats – ha! Then I remember lots of visits to the house in Dallas. What a sweet lady was Aunt Marie! I honor her memory and treasure that she is a part of my life!
I only met Granny once in person, however we had several conversations on the phone while I was staying at her house. She was such a greater than life person. She had spunk and personality to share. I have heard so many stories from Autumn through out the years that I feel like she was my granny too. I know what it is to loose a mother and though it is difficult I know too that she is in a better place with family and friends went on before. My thoughts and prayers go out to the whole family in this time of loss. I love you Bill, Joyce, Audra, Autumn and your families and thank you for allowing me to be part of your lives for so many years.
There is nothing more satisfying than for the longing in our hearts to be met with His presence in our lives. Aunt Marie has everything she needs now. May her family and friends find peace in that knowledge.
I remember her well….such a nice lady. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
